Thank you!

I started this journey with Sebastian and Adam nearly a year ago. I began writing their story during lunch breaks, evenings, and on weekends in March of this year. They've buried themselves so far in my heart that they will never come out. Luckily, there is plenty of room for many more characters.

Now that Only You is released it is time to get back to work on Chasing Mr. Wright. Chase Rivers and Grayson Wright deserve my undivided attention and they shall have it. I'm about nine chapters in and well on my way to sharing their story with you. I had planned to take the next few weeks off to enjoy Christmas with my family, but these characters want no part of that.  I have a feeling quite a bit of my Christmas vacation will be spent with them.


I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. If you'll indulge me, I'd like to share my Christmas wishes with you. I wish for true marriage equality for everyone.  It bothers me that my book characters can fall in love, get married, have babies, and live happily ever after, but in the real world too many people are denied those rights. I wish for people to not be ashamed of who they are and to know that they are loved. I wish for parents to never turn their backs on their children because they don't meet their criteria of "normal," whatever normal means. I pray nightly that no more teenagers take their own lives because they are bullied to the point where they hate themselves and the world they live in. Lastly, I wish for people to love without judgment. Just because someone doesn't understand a situation, doesn't make it okay for them to degrade and bully others. Oh, and lets work on acceptance instead of  tolerance. Although tolerance is an improvement over hate, it is not the objective we should work toward.
