Exciting News for the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries!

Hello, everyone. I hope this blog post finds you well. I have some really exciting news to share with you regarding the Curl Up and Dye Mystery series. Joel Leslie Froomkin has agreed to narrate Dyeing to be Loved this fall! He is extremely talented and I feel so fortunate to work with him. I know he's going to do a fabulous job bringing Josh and Gabe to life for us!

Also, I'm having Dyeing to be Loved reformatted in May to include their prequel. Once that is done, I'm replacing the existing ebook file on Amazon with this updated version. To the best of my knowledge, you will not have to repurchase the ebook to have the updated version. However, you may have to go into your Amazon account and manually update the version because it might not update automatically. I will get more details closer to time.

The prequel was supposed to be included in Dyeing to Be Loved all along, but the publish date for the anthology Fatal Reaction appeared in was pushed back almost two months. I didn't have the rights to the book when Dyeing to be Loved was schedule to release. So, I made Fatal Reaction FREE on my blog once I got my rights back to make up for it, made a note in the book description on Amazon—which doesn't always appear—and added a note on Goodreads. I thought I was doing a good thing by posting it for free, but it seems that I created more chaos. Now, I'm going to do everyting I can to get the ebook updated on Amazon to include the prequel with as little stress to the reader as possible.

I hope to have a cover reveal for I Do, or Dye Trying soon. The book is still on schedule for release on May 2, 2017. Reminder, this is the last book in the mystery part of the series. Josh and Gabe will still be appear as supporting cast in the spinoff/companion books for Chaz, Dr. D, Emory, and Jon. Josh and Gabe will return as the main characters in a holiday book and then we'll probably kick off 2018 with another spinoff/companion book. As far as I can tell right now, Josh and Gabe's books are the only ones with an element of myster to them, but I can't say for sure that's how they'll turn out.

I hope to be back soon with more exciting news!

XOXO

Aimee

  2. Thank you! I can't let myself think about the actual "the end" for the series or I'll get depressed. Thankfully, I have several books to write and I'm looking forward to hanging out with the other couples.

  3. Great news Aimee! Thx for doing this. It'll be easier than sifting through the anthology to find the prequel. 😀

  6. Hi Aimee. I clicked on your link, but it says the page doesn't exist. I'd really love to read the prequel. I started the first book and I knew right away something was missing so I don't want to continue until I can read the prequel, please. I actually just purchased the first book today, Aug 1st, and the prequel wasn't included. Thank you for your help!

    1. Hello. There was an issue with the file today and the book was unavailable for a brief period if time. However, it has since been corrected. Amazon may have to update your copy, although I have no idea why. My recently purchased copy has the prequel in the front of the book. So, if Amazon can't update it for you, please email me at aimeenicolewalker@gmail.com. I can send a new copy directly to your kindle.

  7. Hi, I just tried to re-download it and as of now, Amazon still doesn't have it fixed. The cover page on Amazon'a page says the bonus Fatal Reaction is included, but when I download the book, the cover no longer says that and it's not there. I'll try again tomorrow, maybe they just need 24-hours to really fix things. Thank you for responding, Aimee!

    1. I just made a new blog post about this nightmare. If you contact Amazon's customer service department they'll fix it for you! It took them less than two minutes. You can call, email, or chat. I always choose the chat option, and I'm immediately connected with a service rep. It took me longer to type the message in the chat box than it did for them to fix. You just need to tell them the name of the book and that you have a copy that needs updating. Tbey fix it right away!
